Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will explore the process of working with composers and sound designers while focusing on three primary areas. 1) Business: Contracts and budgets will be reviewed, walking through the process of hiring an audio contractor from start to finish. Sample contracts will also be provided as a reference. 2) Current Workflows: We’ll quickly look at the most common ways developers currently work with audio contractors, such as gameplay video captures and the iterative processes involved. 3) Optimized Workflows: We’ll discuss and demonstrate how to improve this process by taking advantage of modern tech and tools to create infinitely more dynamic audio experiences and streamline collaboration. In addition to demonstrating the new Unity 5 audio functionality, we will discuss the advantages of integrating audio middleware like Wwise. We will also show a live demo of the integration process for Wwise and demonstrate some of its basic functionality.
