Katherine Cross is a Ph.D student in sociology at the CUNY Graduate Centre in New York, a writer, and a gaming critic. Her work has appeared in Polygon, Offworld, Kotaku, Bitch Magazine, as well as Gamasutra and Feministing where she writes weekly columns on gaming and politics respectively (or, frankly, different admixtures of both).

Cara Ellison is an itinerant writer, essayist and speaker on games and pop culture. She began writing about games reluctantly two years ago and stayed due to lack of life plans. Recently she has been travelling the world writing gonzo journalism about independent gamemakers pushing the boundaries of the medium for the 'Embed With Games' series, and a book compiling this work is due out in 2015.

Kris Ligman is the senior curator of Critical Distance, a website devoted to the promotion and preservation of critical games discourse. Their work has been featured in Gamasutra, Game Developer magazine, Unwinnable, and Five Out of Ten, among others. One day, Kris will finish their Twine game adaptation of Peony Pavilion.
