IndieCade East 2016 Conference co-chair Jennie Robinson Faber is a software developer, community facilitator and advocate for equity in game arts and culture. She got her start in radio production and TV news, and is now focused on helping others share wisdom and experiences through non-traditional storytelling and play.

She is a co-founder and director of Dames Making Games, a feminist gamemakers collective; vice president of the board of the Toronto Media Arts Centre; co-founder of game developers’ coworking community Gamma Space; founder of the games, comics and food festival Bit Bazaar; and creative technology lead at Toronto International Film Festival.
