Veronica Graham
Veronica Graham is an Oakland based visual artist primarily working in print and digital arts. Inspired by the rapidly changing environment of the Bay Area she sees her art practice as a form of world building. Each work involves the creation of a fictional environment that imparts a genuine sense of historicity and presence. Since 2010 she has been part of Most Ancient (mostancient.com), a two-person collaboration focused on small press and digital production. Most Ancient works can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art Library, SF MoMA Library, Green Library (Stanford University), Haas Family Arts Library (Yale University), and other public and private collections. In addition to her own practice, Graham shares her skills as a master screen-printer at Kala Art Institute and leads the animation program at Creativity Explored (creativityexplored.org). Currently Graham has been gravitating towards 3D animation. Under the Most Ancient moniker she is now designing a virtual reality environment for the Oculus Rift platform called Retreat, set to be released in 2015.
